Alice Cennamo
Individual therapy for young women struggling through stress, life transitions, and self-doubt.
My clients are exhausted. Despite being hard working, determined, and creative, they still feel stuck in a loop.
When they first come to therapy, they feel like they’re drowning in a storm of stress, high expectations, and confusion about the path ahead. It’s a full time job keeping their head just above the rising water.
They vacillate between feeling selfish & like a burden, powerful & powerless, motivated & avoidant, on top of the world & crushed beneath it’s weight.
They lay in bed at night wondering if this is what life is supposed to feel like. And even though they work hard to convince everyone around them that they’re functioning well and doing okay… they wonder: Is it normal to feel so lost sometimes? Are they the only ones barely keeping it all together?
Before they came to see me, my clients worried therapy wouldn’t be worth it. They wondered if they (or their parents/friends/loved ones) were overreacting. They wondered if they actually needed to change; if they maybe weren’t capable of changing. They hoped things would just get better on it’s own.
Stress, shame, and constant self-judgement is exhausting.
Like my clients, you deserve to feel competent, confident, and in control of your own life. Feeling consistently proud of the life you’re living is absolutely possible. If you’re ready to gain back control over your emotions, relationships, goals, and life, I can help you get there.
You’re at a crossroads: keep doing the same thing you’ve always done, or be willing to try something different.
