Paichence Maze, LCPC
When you've spent so much time taking care of everyone else or pushing yourself to meet impossible expectations, it's easy to lose sight of your own needs. You might feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, disconnected from yourself, or stuck in patterns that no longer serve you. Whether you're navigating trauma, body image concerns, relationship challenges, or the pressure to keep everything together, therapy can help you reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater confidence.
I work with college students, graduate students, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, complex trauma, disordered eating, body image concerns, self-esteem, relationship and communication challenges, life transitions, and the stress that can come with academics, athletics, or navigating racial identity and belonging. I also enjoy supporting neurodivergent students as they better understand their strengths, challenges, and unique ways of moving through the world.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. Together, we'll explore the patterns that have helped you survive while building practical skills to strengthen emotional regulation, improve relationships, and create healthier ways of coping. I integrate relational therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and skills-based interventions to support meaningful, lasting growth.
Above all, I want therapy to feel like a place where you don't have to filter yourself or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. My hope is that you leave feeling more grounded, more compassionate toward yourself, and more confident in your ability to navigate life's challenges while building a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
