The Bravery Collective Psychology
Provider Types
This is a group practice with multiple providers, including:
- Psychologists
We are two NYC-based licensed child and adolescent psychologists and the founders of The Bravery Collective Psychology, a private practice serving young people and parents in NY, NJ, and all 40+ PSYPACT-participating states.
Previously on faculty at Columbia University/NewYork-Presbyterian, we came together to found our practice based on the shared belief that many of the best things in life require bravery – and that bravery can be learned and practiced. Our mission is to help young people build the tools to move toward their goals, even when those goals feel big and intimidating.
Our expertise:
- Mood & Coping - Withdrawal, worry, depression, avoidance, anxiety, body image concerns
- Executive Functioning & Organization - Trouble focusing, impulsivity, disorganization
- Life Transitions & Coping with Illness - Identity, adjustment to diagnoses, health anxiety, support around medication management/adherence
- Behavioral Concerns & Development - Meltdowns, defiance, externalizing behaviors, sleep struggles, toileting
- Parent Support - Stress, communication, limit setting, preparation for major life events
- Sibling Dynamics - Sibling relationships, sibling conflict, competition, resilience
