(Current availability for new clients: Virtual sessions on Fridays! In-person sessions will be available in August on Tuesdays). Wonton (Professionally trained Therapy Dog) & I are so excited you've found us! Are you curious about Animal-Assisted Therapy & connecting with an enthusiastic, loving, compassionate, 8-year-old, yellow lab? It can feel really isolating to struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and/or addiction. On top of that, it can be challenging to connect with people who understand that experience without judgement & can offer appropriate support. Therapy Dogs offer a very unique type of support for mental health: nervous system regulation, somatic processing, grounding skills, relationship skills, general improvements in mood, etc. Wonton & I have been a partnered therapy team since 2018 & we offer a warm, non-judgmental approach to facilitate the challenging work of therapy. We utilize a combination of therapeutic modalities such as Animal-Assisted Therapy, along with CBT, DBT, ACT, Trauma-Focused, & Solution-Focused specialties to support young adults/adults. After my family experienced something traumatic and we went through our own grief and healing journey (ongoing), this experience helped me to relate to a broader range of folks who were also hurting. I became a mental health professional because I love connecting with people and want to help them navigate unique and challenging circumstances. I am passionate about partnering with people who are choosing change and healing in order to discover more about themselves, grow, improve their quality of life and relationships with others. Prior to working in the mental health field, I worked as an Administrative Personnel at a University in Colorado for over 10 years and supported undergraduate and graduate students which allowed me opportunities to witness the unique challenges that students experience. If you are struggling with the stress of meeting new expectations, adjusting to college environments, managing your course load along with other adult responsibilities, trying to find your identity as a young adult, struggling in your relationships, having homesickness, and/or managing an illness(es), then you are not alone in this experience. If you are ready to choose change & healing in order to discover more about yourself, grow, & improve your quality of life & relationships with others, then Wonton & I would love an opportunity to connect & partner with you! (Current Availability: Mondays 9am Virtual, 1pm Virtual; and Thursdays 1pm In-person, 3pm In-person).

Life can start to feel heavy when you’re constantly carrying the weight of worry, unhealed emotional wounds, or a cloud of sadness that just won’t lift. Maybe you find yourself trapped in a loop of overthinking, feeling disconnected from the people around you, or exhausted from trying to look like you have it all together. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply tired of navigating these challenges on your own, please know that you don’t have to carry this by yourself. My therapeutic approach is down-to-earth and collaborative: less like a rigid assessment and more of a supportive, open conversation where you can feel comfortable truly being yourself. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, significant life changes, and safely process past traumatic experiences. When you sit down with me, you can expect a space that is entirely free of judgment, where your unique story is heard and respected. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, but you deserve a space that’s dedicated to your healing and growth. If you're interested in working together, please reach out.

I believe our emotional reactions are rarely random. When stress flares or we feel stuck, it often activates deeper attachment wounds, unmet needs, or patterns shaped by our relationships and systems. In the here & now, I help clients slow down, notice thoughts, emotions, & bodily sensations, exploring what’s truly holding them back. I approach therapy through a systemic, attachment-informed lens, integrating mindfulness & presence to foster self-awareness, self-compassion, & more intentional, authentic ways of relating to yourself & others.

Everyone deserves a space where they can feel safe, accepted, and truly heard—especially when life gets confusing or tough. My goal is to be that space for you, where we can talk through what’s on your mind and help you feel more in control. College is like a pressure cooker of compounding transitions. On top of demanding coursework, you are likely navigating the intense world of identity exploration. This can mean a lot of things; from the deeply personal layers of discovering your sexual orientation and gender identity, to simply figuring out who you are as an individual and what you actually want out of romantic and sexual relationships. As a queer therapist, I intimately understand the unique difficulties of navigating these shifts. I have walked this path myself, personally navigating profound changes in my own sexual orientation and gender identity, and I know how isolating it can feel to explore these core parts of yourself while trying to maintain your GPA. It is incredibly common to feel stuck in a major or career track that feels entirely wrong, paralyzed by the fear of starting over. I know that panic firsthand. I spent years working as a software developer before a season of deep introspection and counseling gave me the courage to make a massive pivot. Today, I am in a field I love deeply; one that brings me genuine passion far beyond a paycheck. If you are feeling misaligned with your current path, I offer specialized career counseling to help you cut through the external expectations, decode your true strengths, and confidently identify a professional field that actually fits your authentic self. Whether you are drowning in academic stress, untangling painful relationship patterns, processing trauma, or facing a complete directional pivot, you do not have to figure it out alone. Together, we will address the practical mechanics of stress management while diving deep into the relational dynamics that keep you stuck. I provide an encouraging, explicitly inclusive, and safe space where no topic is too messy or taboo. Your college years can feel incredibly destabilizing, but our work together will help you build the self-trust and clarity needed to step out of survival mode and into a life that is genuinely, authentically your own.

Living with anxiety or a mood disorder can feel isolating, overwhelming, and hard to put into words. You may find yourself overthinking, feeling on edge, or weighed down by intense sadness. At other times, your energy or mood may shift in ways that feel just as unsettling - racing thoughts, difficulty sleeping, or feeling pulled in a million different directions. You may wonder why things feel so much harder for you than they seem for others or feel frustrated by patterns that you can't seem to break. If any of this resonates with you, I see you - and you don't have to go through it on your own. I'm here to help by creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space grounded in empathy and honesty, when it’s helpful. You’re the expert in your life—I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we will explore your values, build routines that support your mood, and gently shift unhelpful thought patterns. My practice is rooted in a deep respect for the many factors that shape each person’s healing—both within and around them. Having experienced my own transformative work in therapy, I understand the courage and vulnerability it takes to show up. It’s truly an honor to be invited into that journey, and I approach each client with care, humility, and warmth.

What makes Restoration Psychology different? We know you have various options for treatment providers and therapy. Restoration Psychology is deeply committed to providing culturally sensitive and inclusive treatment for all people. We strive to help our clients restore mental well being and reduce psychological stress. We know that each individual and family has a unique set of needs and cultural values that can impact treatment. Our clinicians work hard to understand our clients from a bio-psycho-social- spiritual lens. We want to tailor each treatment approach to fit your needs. We are a full-service counseling center specializing in faith-based counseling through a unique bio-psycho-social-spiritual lens aimed at integrating the full self by renewing what has been damaged, revitalizing what has decayed, and rebuilding what has deteriorated. In order to do this, we must explore each aspect of the individual—their physical characteristics (race, ethnicity, health issues etc.), mental/emotional states, relationships with others (including family and community groups), and faith convictions. This allows us to take the first step of the journey toward restoration. Because spiritual belief influences one’s worldview, it also greatly influences the individual and is, therefore, an important aspect to be explored. We promise to work with you where you are, no matter your faith background. We will provide a safe space for you to confront any issues that arise in a judgment-free environment.
