Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, but with the right one by your side, true healing can begin. As a clinical social worker specializing in individual psychotherapy, my goal is to make that process feel a little less daunting by offering a collaborative, supportive space where you can show up as you are. My work centers on older adolescents and adults navigating mental health challenges such as anxiety and depression, as well as those moving through life transitions, grief, loss, or anticipated loss. As a queer clinician, providing identity-affirming care is also central to my practice, particularly for those exploring sexuality and gender, or who face systemic barriers to self-expression and self-actualization. If you choose to work together and the connection feels right, I'm confident we can do meaningful work. My approach is strengths-based, relational, and grounded in a person-in-environment perspective, which means I consider you within the greater context of your life, your relationships, and the systems that shape your daily experience. All of my work is rooted in a social justice framework, and a deep belief in every person's inherent dignity and worth. Together, we'll explore the events and relationships — both past and present — that inform how you move through the world, building deeper self-understanding and self-compassion along the way. You can expect a warm, accepting, and responsive environment where the therapeutic approach is tailored to your unique needs and preferences. That often means blending meaningful self-reflection with a growing toolkit of practical skills and techniques you can carry with you outside of our sessions. Before becoming a therapist, nearly a decade was spent working as a professional musician, an experience that instilled a deep appreciation for the courage and vulnerability that authentic self-expression requires. Sitting with our emotions, sharing them, and exploring them can feel scary, but it can also be genuinely beautiful, opening doors to connection and self-discovery that might otherwise stay closed. At my core, connecting with people has always been what drives me. That's why authentic curiosity, empathy, and an open mind are things I bring to every interaction. My education, lived experiences, and professional background all converge in service of one goal: creating a space where you can work toward better understanding yourself and expressing who you truly are. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me singing, traveling, or cooking and baking for the people I love. Shared meals with friends and family are something I treasure deeply, as are deep belly laughs and adventures with my husband and our dog, Bagel.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I help children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigate severe anxiety, depression, life transitions, phobias, grief, gender or identity issues, boundaries and self-care, interpersonal relationships, and trauma. Whether you're a teenager struggling with self-esteem or self-harm thoughts, an adult working through a major life change, or a couple looking to rebuild connection, this is a nonjudgemental space where you are heard, understood, and supported while exploring your own desires, motivations, and needs. For teens, I offer the tools to manage the pressures of school, home, and everyday life. For adults, we work together to untangle the weight of anxiety, depression, stress, and transitions so you can craft a clear path toward your goals. For couples, the focus is on rediscovering what it means to be a team, navigating conflict resolution and codependency, and building the communication skills and trust to get there. No matter what you’re facing, I believe every person has the capacity not only to overcome challenges but to truly thrive. My role is to be a guide as you do exactly that – provide the environment where you can better yourself and shed unhealthy patterns. If you’ve found yourself encountering obstacles and seeking ways to move forward, please reach out today. My work is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and a genuine belief in your ability to grow, in a safe, collaborative, and calm environment. Life moves fast, and the thoughts that come with it can quickly become overwhelming, which is why I help you slow down, untangle what's weighing on you, and build self-awareness so you can move forward with clarity and intention. Depending on your needs, I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and person-centered approaches. Each method serves a different purpose: CBT and person-centered therapies help you explore different parts of yourself with insight and compassion; DBT and IFS offer practical skills and tools to grow while gaining personal insights. No matter the approach, you can always expect warmth, directness, and yes, humor. This is a space where you lead, and where we can go deep when the moment calls for it. Whether you're working through unhealthy habits in life, resolving negative patterns in a relationship, navigating personal challenges, or simply wanting to understand yourself better, the goal is always the same: to meet you where you are, uncover the conflicts holding you back, and help you get where you want to be. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experience with family therapy, where I learned about myself and how to build healthier connections with the people closest to me. In college, I volunteered for 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, and found real meaning in being able to offer that same kind of safe, supportive space for others. These experiences led me to Florida State University, where I earned both a Master of Science and an Education Specialist in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology and a double major in Business Management. That combination of lived experience and academic grounding shaped the kind of therapist I set out to become: one who brings both empathy and honest guidance into every session. Authentic connection and meaningful conversation are at the heart of this work, and I look forward to walking alongside you in yours. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me running, getting lost in a good book, playing board games, discovering new music, or sitting down to a great meal. Staying curious and continuing to learn are values I carry into every area of my life, including my work with you.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my work is rooted in helping teens and adults navigate complex trauma, late-diagnosed or suspected neurodivergent experiences, and the deeper questions of identity, relationships, and purpose. Whether you're processing a difficult life transition, untangling a late diagnosis of autism or ADHD, or beginning to understand how past experiences have shaped who you are today, I'm here to help you find clarity, connection, and a path forward. I believe in the power of connection and the idea that every part of you has value, which helps me be a genuine partner in building something that actually works for you. There’s no clipboard here, no one-size-fits-all plan handed down without context. Together, we'll explore who you are, tinker with the pieces, and discover the purpose you came here to find. You can expect warmth, honesty, and a comfortable space that feels both safe and genuine throughout our time together. Drawing on humanistic, neuroscience-based, attachment theory, and solution-focused approaches, we'll explore your relationships, emotions, identity, and purpose in a way that's collaborative from the start. Your plan is built with you, not for you, because your needs, experiences, and goals are the compass for everything we do together. Authentic and curious by nature, I believe that all parts of a person are worth examining and none of them are broken. That conviction shows up in every session. My path to becoming a therapist began in grief counseling and restorative justice intervention, where I witnessed firsthand how much a genuine human connection could change someone's trajectory. That experience deepened my commitment to relationship-centered care, where the therapeutic connection itself is part of the healing process. More than 10 years of advanced training from CU Boulder and Northwestern University ground my clinical practice, but what I bring to the work goes beyond a résumé: vulnerable humanity, genuine curiosity, and the occasional well-timed laugh. Outside of sessions, you'll find me in the boxing gym, tending to my aquariums, or playing percussion in bluegrass and folk music. These pursuits keep me grounded, present, and endlessly curious, qualities I carry into every session with you.

This support includes helping patients navigate co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, stress and anxiety, perfectionism, emotion-regulation difficulties, and challenges in relationships or daily functioning. My experience also extends to supporting previously incarcerated individuals as they navigate their reintegration process. No matter what you’re facing, we develop practical skills together for managing symptoms, creating meaningful life changes, and strengthening your relationships and self-understanding. I believe in meeting you wherever you are in each moment, whether you're processing challenges, celebrating strengths, building skills, or exploring new goals. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting your journey! My clinical approach is trauma-informed and holistic, recognizing the interconnectedness of your values, relationships, and life experiences. Using skills-based, strengths-based, and emotion-focused interventions, I support your healing and lasting change in a warm, goal-oriented space grounded in empathy and validation for your unique experience. While I draw on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), I tailor interventions to align with your values, life context, and goals. My path to becoming a therapist grew from my own lived experience with mental health and a genuine passion for connection and growth. Volunteer work alongside my clinical experience has also deepened my understanding of our shared humanity, regardless of what we’ve been through or where we come from, and strengthened my commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care. This combination of lived experience and clinical practice allows me to provide you with meaningful care. I love traveling, exploring cute coffee shops and restaurants, golfing, board game nights, and anything involving quality time with friends and family.

Through this work we may explore where you feel stuck and how to get unstuck, come to understand the multifaceted parts that make up your identity, what it means to be in relationship with yourself and those around you, how to be authentically yourself, and ultimately create deeper, more meaningful relationships and experiences.

I believe that healing involves the mind, body and soul. I focus primarily on relational methods, as I believe that the therapeutic bond is a place to practice and explore new ways of connecting, being vulnerable, feeling emotions, receiving care, and building self-awareness. My main methods of therapy are Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP) and Neuro-Affective Relational Model (NARM), both of which focus on using relationship to bring out each individual’s self-righting tendencies and heal past wounds.. I also am certified in EMDR and the DIR/Floortime developmental play therapy model. I have training in various parenting and family therapy methods, including Circle of Security and Developmental Dyadic Psychotherapy. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish from Miami University in Ohio, an MBA from Northwestern University in Evanston, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kentucky. My Colorado license is #9925261. I am lucky to be married to a wonderful husband and have three boys, all beginning their journey into adulthood. I love to hike, read, and sit by the firepit with friends and family.

The journey to find your true self looks different for each individual and it is my goal to join you specifically where you are and walk alongside you as you find your way to where you’d like to be. I work in both private practice counseling and neurofeedback having experience working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression, relationship problems, sleep issues, eating disorders, learning disabilities, self-exploration, and much more. It is the most incredible feeling to join the process of somebody finding themselves and understanding that they have the power to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. With an empowering & non-judgmental approach I utilize CBT & SFT with skills including motivational interviewing, mindfulness, & Adlerian therapy. In addition, I can incorporate neurofeedback which is a technology that maps a client’s brain & discovers dysregulation. We can then address specific brain-based causes for many emotional and behavioral issues. My mission is to create a collaborative, holistic, and healthy therapeutic relationship individualized for you. People seek therapy for many reasons, to make changes or process difficult experiences. My goal is to help you better understand yourself and it is essential to me that you feel heard and accepted in our work. Then we can explore together the changes you want to make in your life and how I can support you to enact those changes. You are the expert in your life and I want to help you move in a direction that feels best for you. I honor the range of identities (gender, ethnicity, sexuality, etc.) and strengths that you bring to therapy. My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and active. I enjoy working with a variety of concerns, but most often work with food and body image concerns, gender identity development, anxiety, issues facing college students, trauma, depression and relationship issues. I also provide gender affirming therapy and gender confirmation support letters. Therapy tends to be most successful when clients feel empowered to ask questions and share feedback.
