Most of my patients are in their 20s and 30s, and part of the LGBTQIA+ community who struggle with anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and burnout around their high-pressure jobs/career/industry (e.g., academia, healthcare, STEM). I help them develop coping skills, set boundaries, and learn how to navigate the world as a neurodivergent person. I use a neuroaffirming approach, I have a direct, honest, and blunt style, and mainly utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, and Internal Family Systems to help manage stressors around job/career and as a neurodivergent person. College can look exciting on the outside and feel overwhelming on the inside. I work with students who are dealing with anxiety that won’t quiet down, focus that feels impossible, mood changes, burnout, or the pressure to keep it all together. If things feel harder than they should, you’re not alone. As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, I provide thoughtful, personalized medication management. I take time to listen, explain options in clear language, and work with you to build a plan that feels manageable and realistic for your life. You deserve support that feels steady, respectful, and not rushed.

I am a client-centered psychologist who works with adults and adolescents (13+). I believe therapy should involve the whole person - including our internal, social, societal, spiritual, and physical selves. I invite clients to be collaborators in finding and exploring what will help them achieve growth. I provide a warm, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment and believe a strong client-therapist relationship is essential for growth and change. I integrate aspects of multiple therapeutic modalities, including behavioral approaches (CBT, DBT, behavioral medicine/health psychology), mindfulness-based interventions, humanism, existential, relational and developmental theory, motivational interviewing, and psychodynamic-informed care. I help patients/clients address a range of concerns including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use struggles, difficulties in relationships, grief/loss, identifying life goals, navigating life transitions, and balancing work-life demands. I received my training at William James College (Newton, MA). Trained with Advocates Community Counseling, Rutgers University College Counseling, and Boston Behavioral Medicine. I completed a post-doctoral behavioral health fellowship at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates and worked there as a staff psychologist until October 2019. I have worked extensively in individual therapy, worked with adolescents and their caregivers, and have led mindfulness skills groups and anxiety skills groups. I am an ally and welcome all gender identities and sexualities.

During my career of being a therapist for over a decade, I have found that the working relationship is pivotal for any change to happen in therapy. I take great care to foster a sense of emotional safety so exploration, processing, and developing new understandings and patterns of interaction with one’s self, others, and the world may take place. I enjoy working with undergraduate and graduate university students, young adults, and working professionals who experience difficulties with general distress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and ADHD. By using elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy, contemporary psychodynamic therapy, and emotional focused therapy I ally with people to aid them in learning more about themselves while dislodging obstacles that may be present in their lives and relationships. I am passionate about helping people who are currently feeling like they are struggling in their lives and working with them to achieve what they envision their life to be through either weekly individual or couple therapy sessions. If you desire to see lasting changes in your work, life, and your relationships, I encourage you to reach out to me, so we can talk more about what you are trying to achieve through therapy.

I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. I earned my undergraduate degree from Quinnipiac University and went on to complete my Master of Social Work at Boston University School of Social Work in 2015. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use. I came into this field because I genuinely value the process of helping people better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I don’t take for granted the trust it takes to share your story with someone new. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard—without judgment. My approach to therapy is pragmatic, individualized, and grounded in your unique strengths. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I work collaboratively with each client to understand what’s most important to them and to develop tools and strategies that feel realistic and useful in everyday life. Whether we’re working through patterns of anxiety, processing past trauma, or addressing substance use, I aim to balance insight with practical steps forward.
