I am a licensed creative arts therapist specializing in drama therapy and psychodrama. I am here to guide you towards a healthier, more balanced and fulfilling life as an adult. Together, we examine your life journey, the roles you play along the way, and the relationships you have with others as well as yourself. Sessions are held weekly for 45 minutes, during which we may dialogue, use metaphor, or embody action techniques. All forms of creative expression are welcome if you should choose to include them in your treatment.

Welcome! I'm Krystal Haas, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). You may see letters next to the names you find on your search, like LCSW, PsyD, or LMHC, and so on. Looking for a therapist can be a daunting and confusing task, so first I'd like to congratulate you on taking your first step. I'm hoping I can make it a little easier by sharing about myself and how I may be able to help you reach your goals. In my case, as an LMHC, my master's degree education was geared specifically to counseling and learning all of the skills necessary to work directly with people. I've been working for about 5 years now as a clinician, and started my private practice at the end of 2022 - one of the best decisions I've ever made! I work with a variety of ages including kids, teens, and young adults, and I often work with individuals who are struggling with the transition to college and/or adulthood. If you've been experiencing anxiety, depression, changes in mood, identity exploration, stress, or problems with "adulting", then we may be a good match! I use methods like CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and eclectic methods, but that may all sound like gibberish. Essentially, I take an educational and supportive approach by listening to your concerns and needs, and then working with you to establish a way to reach your goals. Even if we don't have all the answers right away, it can help to know you have someone on your team to listen. If this sounds up your alley, you're more than welcome to reach out by phone or email to schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I hope to connect, and wish you best of luck on your search!

Psychotherapy is a profoundly personal and individualized process. It can foster a deeper understanding of self and others, promote healing and resilience, increase coping skills, change behaviors, instill hope, create meaning, and help individuals live their lives in more emotionally honest, authentic, and relationally connected ways. At the heart of the therapeutic process is a collaborative working relationship between therapist and client, and the best outcomes are achieved when there is a feeling of connection and understanding between the two. Continually attending to the fit between therapist and client is important in establishing a relationship that has the strength and ability to explore difficult experiences and the impact of those experiences on clients’ lives. Dr. Kapadia approaches the work with both curiosity and compassion, tailoring the treatment to the individual and using an integrative approach to meet each person’s needs. She draws from a variety of therapeutic orientations, including interpersonal, psychodynamic, family systems, and affect regulation models (cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior therapies).

Are you surviving — or actually thriving? I became a therapist so I could help people thrive instead of just surviving. I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 13 years of experience helping adults heal from trauma, manage ADHD, break painful relational patterns, and reconnect with who they truly are. I specialize in working with the BIPOC community, college students, first-generation professionals, women navigating major life transitions, high-achieving adults who feel stuck despite their success, and adults with ADHD who are tired of being misunderstood. I am also one of the few LCSWs certified in financial social work — bringing a unique understanding of how money stress, financial trauma, and ADHD intersect with mental health. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from trauma-focused therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT, ACT, and psychodynamic therapy — always meeting you where you are. Reaching out is the first act of self-care. I offer telehealth exclusively, serving adults in California, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. ¡Se habla español!

I am a Clinical Psychologist and a psychoanalyst, specializing in work with individuals suffering from mood disorders, addiction, trauma, and identity issues. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to turn, you don’t have to face it alone. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in helping children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and major life transitions. With more than five years of experience across diverse clinical settings, I offer care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and built on trust. My goal as your engaged and supportive partner is to ensure you feel safe and understood as we work through what’s weighing on you and progress toward the life you want to live. Our work is a partnership, one where you’re met with respect, curiosity, and care every step of the way. I look forward to supporting your growth, healing, and lasting change. My approach to therapy centers on you. I work collaboratively and from a strengths-based, culturally responsive perspective, creating a space where you feel respected and supported. Together, we’ll explore your unique needs and lived experiences, build insight, and tap into the resilience you already carry. Our sessions are nonjudgmental, trauma informed, and grounded in compassion, with an emphasis on practical tools you can use to create lasting change so the work feels meaningful and relevant. My journey toward becoming a therapist began in my teenage years, when I was searching for ways to make sense of my own emotions and searching for support that truly helped. Along the way, I learned how powerful it can be to feel genuinely understood, an experience that shaped my commitment to offering care that’s warm, trauma informed, and deeply compassionate. In my work today, I bring empathy, patience, and a real-life understanding of what it’s like to build emotional skills one step at a time, meeting people exactly where they are. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with friends and family, painting, boxing, and a little retail therapy. These hobbies help me stay grounded, creative, and energized, bringing balance and presence into the work I do with patients.

I specialize in helping adults heal from trauma, overcome anxiety, and relinquish their self-doubt. Your voice deserves to be heard and listened to. I would so appreciate the opportunity to engage in this therapeutic process with you. In my work, I provide trauma-informed, strengths-based, and person-centered therapy to my clients, while integrating an empathic, intersectional, and holistic approach. My practice is grounded in allowing my clients to explore all aspects of their identities while working through their life experiences. My foundations in trauma-informed approaches and advocacy remain a strong tenet of my work with clients today. I earned my Masters of Science degree in Social Work at Columbia University in Advanced Clinical Practice with a focus on Health, Mental Health, and Disabilities. Previously, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and English from Vassar College.

You're out on your own and somehow now expected to juggle classes, deadlines, social plans you don’t even have the energy for, and the constant pressure to ‘be better.’ Maybe you’re asking yourself: Am I falling behind? Am I doing enough? Why does this feel so much harder for me than everyone else? I work with ambitious students and young adults navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, trauma, and life transitions - like starting college, moving out of the dorms or from college to career, adjusting to grad school, shifting friendships, or figuring out what adulthood is even supposed to look like. In therapy, we’ll untangle what’s keeping you stuck and build tools that actually work in real life. You don’t have to be falling apart to get support. If you look like you’re holding it together on the outside, but inside you’re overthinking, panicking, or numb to it all, I get it. Together, we’ll find your middle ground where you can grow, slow down without losing your flow, and align your actions with your goals and values.
