Hi There! I am a licensed Professional Counselor with over 4 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. My approach is compassionate, warm, and collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and Trauma-Focused. I specialize in working with Adolescents, young adults, and middle-aged adults; struggling with anxiety and depression, communication issues, and trauma survivors. Whether you are dealing with a specific issue or looking for support on your journey of personal growth, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. My goal is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, we'll work to build new tools and create meaningful change. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that healing occurs through a safe and authentic connection. My role is to walk alongside you- offering tools, insights, and support- as you explore what's no longer serving you and move toward the life you want to create. Therapy with me is not about "fixing" you- because you are not broken. It's about uncovering your strengths, understanding your story with compassion, and creating space for growth, clarity, and lasting change. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I want you to know that our first session is all about creating a comfortable, safe space for you to begin your journey. During our initial session, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions to better understand what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to work on, and any important background that can help me support you effectively. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as feels right—we’ll move at your pace. We’ll also talk about how I work, answer any questions you have about the therapy process, and start to outline some goals or intentions for our work together. This session is more about building connection and clarity than diving into deep work right away. Above all, my goal is to make you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very beginning. Whether you’re brand new to therapy or returning after some time away, this is your space—and I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.

Hello! I am a licensed clinical social worker who practiced in a college counseling setting for over 4 years and I have 15 years of counseling experience total. I continue to work with college students in my private practice and I enjoy working with people to better manage anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, grief, life transitions, relationship, concerns, and general stress. My practice is body positive and LGBTQ+, immigrant, and international student supportive and affirming. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for processing fears, thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. I use various types of therapy, including ACT, CBT, DBT skills, somatic therapy, schema therapy, ERPT, narrative therapy, and person centered therapy, but I tailor sessions to what works best for you. I also welcome your feedback in the process. I strongly encourage coming to therapy in the way that you are most comfortable - meaning, swear if you feel the need, don't apologize for eating in sessions if you are hungry, show up in your pajamas - whatever. As long as you are safe and comfortable and you are able to talk privately, I support it. I offer a free 15 minute consultation call to see if we are a good fit, because having a therapist you trust and match with is paramount. I offer virtual telehealth sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I offer in person sessions in Kingwood, Texas on Wednesdays. Please feel free to reach out to me if you'd like to connect and I wish you the best in your therapist search!

You’re the strong one — the responsible one — the one who learned early how to hold it together. You navigate different spaces, code-switching when needed, carrying family expectations while trying to build relationships that feel healthy and secure. You’re self-aware, but old attachment patterns still show up. You’re ready to understand what shaped you and create connection that feels safe, mutual, and authentic. I provide trauma-informed, attachment-focused therapy for Black and Brown Millennials and Gen Z adults and couples. Using EMDR and relational therapy, we process generational and relational wounds so you can shift patterns at their root — not just manage the symptoms. You don’t have to keep carrying everything alone. Many of your patterns were learned for survival — they make sense. Therapy offers space to unlearn what no longer serves you and build something healthier. If you’re ready for intentional, culturally responsive depth work, I invite you to reach out.
Dr. Aw's primary interest is the intersection between mental and physical health. Dr. Aw’s philosophy is that one does not exist outside the other. Furthermore, depression and anxiety in patients who are also suffering from medical issues can feel significantly worse, and it is his goal to get patients on a holistic road to recovery. An ideal patient for Dr. Aw understands that it takes a team to get them feeling better, and it is a collaboration between the patients themselves and Dr. Aw.

Please, allow me to navigate this life-changing journey with you. To be heard without being judged allows us to explore our current state of emotion without the fear of being ridiculed, without the stigma behind mental health, and without the fear of “what will they think of me?” The Goal: To reach a peaceful state of mind. You are not alone.
You’ve always been the one who holds it together. The friend everyone leans on, the one who keeps the peace, even when you're falling apart inside. You’re kind, thoughtful, and always thinking about how others feel—sometimes to the point of losing sight of what you need. Maybe you grew up in a home where speaking up was risky, or you were labeled as “too much.” Now, in college or early adulthood, you feel lost - constantly second-guessing yourself, unsure who you are outside of relationships or achievements. You want to feel more grounded, confident, and in control of your life—but you’re not sure where to start.
Hi, I’m Chioma Onuorah, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Together, we’ll focus on helping you feel better, build healthy coping skills, and improve your overall well-being. I believe seeking help is a sign of strength, and I’m committed to making mental health care accessible, compassionate, and empowering. From the outside, you have it all together, but on the inside you feel disconnected. A gap between the life you’re living and the person you want to be. This disconnection is often a way our mind and body protect us, but overtime it leaves us feeling stuck or empty, in a cycle of doing rather than being. Whether we are navigating relationship concerns or echoes from the past, my focus is meeting you where you are. I work with individuals and couples to peel back these layers and rebuild trust and safety within yourself and others. Together, we work on understanding, untangling, and exploring emotions, behaviors, and past experiences and how they shape you, your world, and your relationships. We create trust and connection within yourself. It isn’t about control or correction. It’s about empowering you with the clarity and trust needed to meet challenges from a place true to you. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental environment that welcomes all orientations, relationships, and lifestyles. My counseling style is warm, collaborative, and unique to you. You are not alone, when you're ready, I'm here. If you'd like to learn more, reach out for a free consultation. I'd love to work with you. Email is the best way to get in touch.
