Hi, I’m Tony, and I offer virtual therapy for college students navigating anxiety, identity, and everything in between. College can feel like both a fresh start and a heavy weight—especially when you’re trying to figure out who you are in a world that often expects you to have all the answers. If you’re feeling anxious, uncertain about the future, or just not quite yourself, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to go through it alone either. In my practice, I work with college students who are dealing with anxiety, self-doubt, identity questions, and the pressure to “get it right.” Many of my clients are exploring who they are outside of other people’s expectations—especially around gender, sexuality, culture, and family. As an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, I create a space where all parts of you are welcome and respected. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, untangle what’s going on inside, and connect more deeply with yourself. No performance. No judgment. Just room to breathe and be real. If you’re ready to explore who you are and how you want to show up in the world, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
I have clinical experience at a large university counseling center in New York, and my time there made me realize how much I like working with college students of all kinds. I specialize in working with individuals experiencing adjustment issues, relationship distress, stress-related problems, trauma effects, depression and mood dysregulation, and life transitions. I emphasize an integrative, eclectic approach to healing and wellness that includes psychodynamic psychotherapy and mind/body awareness. I'll help you explore feelings, sensations, and past experiences, making sense of what we discover and creating the changes necessary for a more vibrant life.
I'm the owner and sole psychologist at my practice, Empower Therapy ATX. I provide both in-person and virtual sessions and have a specialty in working with students, having worked on college campuses in their mental health centers for the first six years of my practice. I love helping students through what can be challenging years of growth, identity change, and coming of age into adulthood.
There ISN’T anything “wrong” with you, you are human and you have lived experiences, some harder than others, but that is where working together to understand those parts of yourself can help! Life can be unpredictable, and at times, deeply challenging. But within each of us lies a quiet strength — Resilience. It's not about avoiding struggle, but about finding the courage to face it, adapt, and grow. In this space, we honor your story, your challenges, and your capacity to heal. Whether you're just beginning your journey or continuing along the path, we're here to walk with you — helping you reconnect with your resilience, one step at a time. At the heart of this work is a deep commitment to equity, justice, and collective healing. This is a space where all identities are seen, respected, and celebrated — where your full humanity is never up for debate. I practice from an anti-racist, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and decolonized lens, acknowledging the ways systemic oppression, intergenerational trauma, and cultural erasure impact our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. Healing does not happen in isolation — it happens in relationship, in context, and in community.
College and early adulthood can be some of the most exciting years of your life- and also some of the most stressful. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, or just not quite like yourself, you're not alone, and you don't have to keep pushing through it on your own. I'm Dr. Shalanda, owner of TookesWilder Guidance, providing counseling and career coaching services. I am licensed as a therapist and hold career coaching and employment interviewing certifications. Whether you're dealing with academic stress, anxiety, relationship challenges, or a general sense that something feels off, I'm here to help you make sense of it. We can meet in-person or virtually through secure video so that you have one less commute to fit into your schedule. I offer a sliding scale fee for students and those who are military-affiliated. I welcome you to reach out and set up your first, initial session, a free 15-minute consultation to see if we are a therapeutic match.
I'm Alyn, a fully bilingual (Spanish/English) Latina Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). My practice is trauma-informed, neurodivergent-affirming, stemming from my own journey as a complex trauma survivor. With a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, I center my work on social justice, cultural affirmation, and total inclusivity. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults through life transitions, including college and identity formation, focusing on inner child work in a safe, validating space. My approach helps clients become more comfortable with distress by gently expanding their window of tolerance. This process boosts emotional intelligence—improving the ability to manage and articulate feelings, deepening connections, and leading to a more satisfying life. I create a secure environment for deep healing, hope, and strengthening inner resolve, using compassion, empathy, and creativity. My goal is to empower you to gain clarity, find balance, manage time and energy wisely, and tap into your inner resilience to face challenges and embrace your unique path.

Hi, I'm Pak P., LMFT. In my practice, I provide therapy for individuals and couples navigating stress, relationships, and emotional challenges, with a specialized focus on men’s mental health, high-performing professionals, and culturally informed care. For couples, whether you're dating, engaged, or already married, I focus on building support and improving communication. My goal is to identify areas of growth for you as a couple working collaboratively toward positive change. The therapy journey is about connecting with yourself, gaining the confidence to navigate life's changes, and making positive steps toward the life you desire. In my therapeutic approach, I create a unique treatment plan just for you based on the foundations of psychodynamic theory and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). This creates a comprehensive and effective therapeutic experience designed for you. Psychodynamic theory helps us to explore your unconscious processes, childhood experiences, and the impact they have on your present behaviors and emotions. It provides a rich understanding of the underlying dynamics that influence your thoughts and actions. EFT focuses on the emotional bonds within relationships, emphasizing the importance of creating secure connections and emotional responsiveness. In both individual and couples therapy, psychodynamic theory allows you to better understand the roots of deep-seated patterns. This can help you recognize and address unresolved issues that may be influencing your current struggles. For example, if you are grappling with recurrent relationship difficulties, psychodynamic exploration can help you uncover patterns established in childhood that affect your perception of intimacy and closeness. It’s pretty powerful! For couples counseling, EFT focuses on the emotional dynamics between you and your partner. It helps you identify and reshape negative patterns of interaction. For instance, if you are stuck in a cycle of blame and withdrawal you might learn to express vulnerable emotions and needs breaking the continuous cycle. By integrating psychodynamic theory and EFT, therapy becomes a dynamic and holistic journey. This can help you break free from unhealthy patterns and enter into a new stage of life. Seeking assistance is a sign of courage and a willingness to deal with life’s many changes. I look forward to providing you with the support you need in this journey

Together, we take time to explore what feels heavy, build healthier ways to cope, and create a sense of balance, confidence, and peace.
