I work best with individuals who are interested in exploring their inner world. Those who benefit most from this work are often seeking to better understand their struggles and find renewed energy and meaning through the process. I work with you to explore and address the issues behind your emotional distress. Together, we will bring awareness to the ways you manage fear, pain, and anger. This exploration will contact the experiences you often avoid, including doubt and vulnerability. When you can experience yourself more fully, you reclaim lost parts of your self. Ultimately, this is a path to building trust in yourself and others. It is deeply rewarding—turning suffering into self-understanding and engagement with life.
Becoming an adult is incredibly exciting but can also be extremely challenging and down right terrifying. Rather it be trauma, anxiety, depression or something else that has carried over from pre college or something new that is happening in college, I can help support. From exploring coping mechanisms, managing your continuously evolving scheduling, navigating stressors and anxiety or processing past trauma and beginning those steps to healing I will tailor your sessions to you and ensure that you are getting what you want from your therapy session. I offer 15 minute consultations to see if we would be a good fit so please reach out.

If you're a college student who is smart and capable but stuck, we get it. Maybe the structure that carried you through high school disappeared, deadlines pile up, you know what you should be doing and can't make yourself start, or the semester feels like it's slipping away. Noble Mentors pairs you with a mentor who works with you in real life, not just in an office: on campus, at a coffee shop, on a trail, or on video from anywhere. Together you build the systems that actually work for your brain (time, tasks, routines, follow-through), practice them side by side, and then you own them. We work especially well with students with ADHD, executive function challenges, autism and neurodivergence, social anxiety, or the general feeling of being off track. Mentoring is not therapy and doesn't replace it; many of our students also see a counselor, and we coordinate with your care team. Every mentor is trained and supervised, with clinical oversight from our Clinical Director, a licensed clinical social worker. In person across Boulder, Denver, and the Front Range, and by video nationwide. Free 40-minute consultation, and you get to choose your mentor.

Hey, I'm Maddie. I'm a therapist who specializes in helping young adults navigate the overwhelming parts of life—anxiety, depression, relationships, identity questions, and all the "what now?" moments that come with this stage of life. Here's the thing: Being a young adult today is hard. You're dealing with massive decisions about your future, trying to figure out who you are, managing relationships, and handling pressure from every direction. Maybe you're struggling with anxiety that makes it hard to focus or make decisions. Maybe you're feeling depressed and just going through the motions. Or maybe you're questioning everything—your major, your relationships, your path forward—and need someone to help you sort it out.
I will help you build skills for greater self-confidence and inner peace. I specialize in helping young people manage depression and anxiety; especially when this dovetails with a history of trauma, body image issues, or substance abuse. I work to help you increase awareness of your strengths and develop strategies for more effective decision making.

"Resilience is based on being able to accept ambiguity and find hope amid uncertain conditions." This notion, shared by Dr. Pauline Boss, is one that is central to my clinical practice. We all have points in our lives when stress, change, or loss, may leave us feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of what lies ahead. The opportunity to warmly welcome clients into my office to re-gain their center, tap into internal resources, and nurture the development of new strategies is one I welcome each time I meet someone new. Rocky, my therapy dog, provides an added level of comfort for clients.
Stressful events disrupt our balance, which can create dysregulation in our emotional and bodily systems. My expertise lies in helping college students to develop ways to cope with life's stress, regulate the nervous system, and find healing. Let me help you find stability and peace with my practices. I specialize in working with college students who are struggling with stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, anger and aggression, low self-esteem and trauma experiences. I combine my expertise in Human Development, Synergetic Play Therapy, Somatic Therapy and person centered techniques to help the young adult shift their nervous system and find regulation through connection, mindfulness, attunement and playful thinking.
