In today’s fast-paced world, many people are expected to keep pushing forward while quietly carrying the emotional and physical burden of chronic illness. I am passionate about supporting individuals navigating chronic health conditions and the psychological challenges that often accompany them, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relational distress, and disenfranchised grief. I believe in a holistic path to healing; a path where the mind, body and spirit is embraced in the work that we will do together. I primarily use a combination of IFS, mindfulness, SE, hypnotherapy, CBT, ACT, and narrative therapies. Over the last 20 years I have worked extensively in a variety of healthcare settings including long-term care, hospice, and an acute care hospital setting. Recently, I worked as a medical social worker in the ICU during the COVID-19 pandemic where I supported patients and their loved ones in navigating the unknown. I also have experience in supporting those who suffer from more rare illnesses including autoimmune diseases, multiple chemical sensitivities, mast cell activation syndrome, chronic inflammatory response syndrome, and chronic Lyme. Working in a variety of healthcare settings has provided me with a unique lens into the many needs and adversities that individuals encounter in the US healthcare system. Through my experiences I have seen firsthand how connected our minds and bodies are, which led me to study interventions and techniques that can help manage a multitude of symptoms such as anxiety, pain, GI distress, and much more. I also have additional training in trauma-informed care and am now a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I work hard to find the right combination of therapeutic interventions to meet each individual's needs.

The Journey to Your Internal Compass Starts with One Step. We cannot control what happens to us, but we can control how we respond. It takes courage to seek help for personal struggles. Therapy is like having a compass. The compass provides a sense of safety for travelers as they know they can rely on it to always point them in the right direction. With a compass—any compass—we can always pause for a moment in time and take stock of where we are so that we can continue to grow and change. All of us must change course from time to time because what we are doing isn’t working. If you are struggling with addiction, alcoholism, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, or trauma, allow me the honor to walk alongside you as you take the steps to the authentic you and discover your internal compass. I use evidence-based treatments tailored to individual needs to help clients attain and maintain long-term sobriety, improve relationships and well-being. I offer a safe and confidential environment on telehealth software. Healing happens within relationships and it's crucial you find a therapist you connect with. Call or email me today. Let’s walk this journey together.

Many people come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted from carrying the same stress, grief, relationship struggles, or emotional pain for far too long. You may feel frustrated that despite your efforts, the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, communication feels difficult, burnout has taken over, or life no longer feels sustainable in the way it once did. Some clients come in feeling anxious, emotionally drained, lost in a major life transition, or unsure how to reconnect with themselves or the people they love. If this sounds like you, I'm glad you're here. I specialize in working with young adults and couples experiencing relationship distress, emotional disconnection, attachment injury, burnout, betrayal trauma, separation, and major life transitions. I also support women navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, identity shifts, and the emotional challenges that can come with these changes. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process rooted in honesty, connection, and compassion. Using a person-centered, attachment-based approach, I work alongside clients to explore the emotions and patterns keeping them stuck. Together, we work toward healing, healthier relationships, and greater overall balance, hope, and fulfillment.

As a therapist, I specialize in supporting young adults and couples as they navigate life’s transitions, relationships, and challenges. My client-centered approach explores root causes while building practical coping skills for daily life. Using a trauma-informed lens, I integrate yoga-based mindfulness and somatic practices to support nervous system regulation and deeper healing. Psychodynamic and narrative therapy help us understand how your worldview was shaped and how it influences your present. We may also incorporate IFS based parts work to gently explore and understand the different parts of your inner experience. With training in the Gottman Method, I help couples strengthen communication, connection, and trust. Together we focus on deepening friendship while managing the practical demands of partnership. You’ll learn tools for healthy conflict resolution and collaboration, remembering you are on the same team. I am committed to creating a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where you feel safe and supported. I understand that beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
Whether you are struggling with perfectionism, emotional overwhelm, can't get over your last relationship, or just don't know if you want to keep going at all...I'm here to help. I struggled mentally throughout my late teens and early twenties; carrying around a lot of shame, self-doubt, and difficulty understanding why it appeared so much easier for everyone else. As a therapist, I am here to listen--not just to your stories, but for the swells of deep feeling that can lead to healing. Together, we will uncover your false beliefs that may be causing unneeded suffering and learn to trust your inner voice as a guide and companion.
My expertise is in helping people change how they feel or behave using evidence-based therapy and guidance. I focus on building a trusting relationship in which you feel open to discuss and work on whatever aspects of your life that you are hoping to change. People tell me they quickly feel at ease talking with me. Together we assess what feelings, thoughts or behaviors you would like to change or feel differently about or how you would like a relationship to be different. We make goals together to guide this process. I then guide you on how to make these changes, sustain them, and assess when you have attained them.

Sometimes you look around and it feels like everyone else has it together. They're confident, focused, and appear to have it together, while you're crashing out behind the scenes, trying to keep up but feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. As a therapist, I've learned that so many of the things we keep hidden are actually shared human experiences. The part of you that pushes you to do everything perfectly, the part that procrastinates, the part that shuts down completely, the parts that hurt you physically--these are all trying to protect you in their own way. I'll be here with you as you begin to understand and find compassion for these parts, moving towards the wise, curious, and creative part of you that was always there. I have had the most success in working with those who struggle with academic stress, self-esteem, perfectionism, self-harm, suicidality due to anxiety and depression, and phobias. Please reach out, and we can discuss your fit with me as your therapist.
If you're struggling, I want you to know it doesn't have to be so hard, and you don't have to go it alone. Together we can begin to understand and cope with emotions and situations which can seem overwhelming. Relationships can create such powerful movement in our lives, and offer real hope. I share a profound respect for your choice to begin therapy, and will provide a non-judgmental space to express yourself. Anxiety, loss, transition -- often these struggles give us opportunity to grow and deepen our knowledge of ourselves.
I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ teens and adults navigating gender, sexuality, relationships, identity, and the emotional weight that can come with living authentically. My approach is warm, relational, and trauma-informed. I pay close attention to what's unfolding between us in the moment, while also helping you build practical tools for regulation, self-trust, and resilience. Our work might include somatic (body-based) practices, mindfulness, inner child and parts work, or deeper exploration of attachment, identity, and the systems we move through. I honor the realities of our sociopolitical climate and the ways it shapes queer and trans lives, and I aim to hold space that’s affirming, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your truth. Whether you're coming out, healing from trauma, or just trying to make sense of who you are and what you need, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. You don’t have to do it alone. “You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward. Sometimes, healing begins the moment you decide to give yourself a chance.” Therapy is not just about identifying or correcting what’s “wrong”—it’s about rediscovering strengths that are already within you. While we may explore the pain, trauma, and roadblocks of your past and present, we will also work together on identifying what’s working, nurturing your strengths, and helping you build a life that feels more aligned with who you truly are. As a clinician, I work from a place of deep empathy, lived experience, and belief in the resilience of the human spirit. My approach is collaborative, non-judgmental, and centered on you as the expert of your own story. I bring a diverse clinical background across mental and behavioral health settings—ranging from inpatient work to community-based care coordination—and I’m passionate about making healing accessible, practical, and rooted in real life. My role is to help you get clear on your goals, discover what’s already working (even if it doesn’t feel like it yet), and explore new ways to respond to the challenges you’re facing. I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices such as DBT, CBT, ACT, and internal family systems, all within a trauma informed approach. I tailor sessions to the individual in front of me—because I know there’s no linear path to healing. Whether you’re navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, shame, life transitions, chronic stress, or simply feeling stuck; our work together will honor where you’ve been while helping you reimagine where you’re going. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults, and I have a special interest in helping those going through personal reinvention, major life transitions, or feeling overwhelmed by their roles and expectations. I hold space for those who may be struggling with self-esteem, burnout, interpersonal conflict, or simply trying to figure out who they are in a world that doesn’t always make that easy. I am a passionate advocate for maintaining recovery from substance use and eating disorders. I am an LGBTQ+ and gender-affirming therapist, and I strive to provide culturally responsive, anti-oppressive care rooted in social justice. I understand the importance of autonomy and authenticity, especially for those who have felt misunderstood or unseen. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to show up as your full self—messy, uncertain, brilliant, and worthy of healing.
I am passionate about creating a space where you feel safe, seen, and accepted exactly as you are. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, and I strive to provide an environment where people of all backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences feel welcomed, valued, and empowered. My commitment to social justice informs my work and reflects my belief that everyone deserves compassionate, affirming care. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate life's challenges. My background includes youth development, case management, and crisis support, with extensive experience serving LGBTQIA+ population, adolescents, young adults and school-aged children. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Play Therapy, EMDR, TF-CBT, and DBT, tailoring therapy to meet each person's unique needs and strengths. I enjoy supporting clients who are navigating and healing from trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, depression, dissociation, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal ideation, relationship and interpersonal challenges, life transitions, identity exploration, and the unique experiences of adolescence and young adulthood. Whether you're working through difficult experiences, adjusting to change, or discovering your authentic self, my hope is to help you build resilience, find healing, and move toward the life you want to live.
