As therapists, we often have a front-row seat to miracles. Well, okay, there are no miracles really. The fact is “fixing” a relationship or eliminating unhealthy behaviors can feel overwhelming. Yet, we are constantly amazed by the resiliency of clients and the transformative nature of the therapy. We strongly value the client-therapist relationship and heavily emphasize building rapport. Many clients will see a therapist for one session and never return, citing a lack of rapport with the therapist as the reason. We are humbled every day by the fact that clients choose to share some of the most vulnerable aspects of their lives with us. Whether you are struggling to overcome an addiction, repair a relationship or seeking to heal from past traumas, you have come to the right place. We have the experience to help you achieve your goals.
My ideal client is a person who is struggling with anxiety, depression, a life transition or who has trouble identifying feelings. They feel these difficulties hold them back from the life they want, and are brave enough to begin a journey of transformation. My primary approach is experiential in nature, which means I work in the here-and-now with you. My approach is also informed by psychodynamic therapy, which explores how the past impacts your present life. Feel free to learn more at ericbryanlmhc.com. Please reach out if you think we may be a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi I'm Kate. It's nice to meet you, even if it's here on a website page. For many of us, we come to a point in our lives where we feel stuck. You might be at this point right now. You've tried everything you can think of to shift things, but nothing seems to be working. The gap between where you want to be and where you actually are is painful. In my practice, we explore these issues and stuck spots in a safe and nonjudgemental space. Together we experiment with new ways to open up, express, listen, and engage in order to bring about new understandings, deeper connections and most of all healing. The overall goal is to start Living Better, Feeling Better and Moving Forward. I may or may not be the right fit for you. I know it can be overwhelming to find a therapist. Reach out, if I am not the right fit, I will help you find someone who is. Hang in there. You are on the right track.

I specialize in working on trauma that has lead to current mood issues as well using several modalities of treatment.

I strive to see the whole person not just a list of symptoms. Understanding your unique background is key because therapy is not a cookie-cutter approach. Currently in network with Aetna, Kaiser Permanente, Lyra Health, SpringHealth, Sutter EAP, and Cigna in certain states. I am a solution focused therapist with 6 years of experience working with individuals and families to help them reach their goals. I get to know my clients and incorporate meaningful activities into our therapeutic sessions to help them work through the issues that are causing them disruption in their lives. I know that life can be difficult due to many different issues. Whatever the issue is, I am happy to work with clients to help them figure out how to overcome it. My primary objective is to help clients remove barriers to personal success and take steps toward autonomy through the promotion of mental health. I am able to provide this service in both English and Spanish. In addition to being a bilingual mental health therapist, I am a seasoned educator with 13 years of classroom teaching experience. Over the years, I have gained beneficial experience that has helped form my counseling philosophy that we all have room to grow. Lao Tzu said it best when he coined the phrase, "a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." We are all on a journey in this life and start at different places along the path. It doesn't matter where any one of us starts, it just matters that we take that first step and keep on going.
As a therapist, I operate from a client centered lens. I look to my clients as the experts of their experiences and the facilitators of their own solutions. My role is to act as a mirror, in order for you to see and know yourself on a deeper and more meaningful level. Through this process, you will be challenged to face things that are uncomfortable, show yourself and others grace, and grow into a better version of yourself. Transformation is a process and requires commitment and dedication from both sides of the client, therapist relationship. I am committed to helping you get there, when you are ready to begin.
