Hi, I’m so glad you are here. If your life has come to a crossroad and you would like someone to walk alongside you as you navigate your journey, you have come to the right place. Feeling uncertain, worried, or hopeless can be scary and hard to cope with. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to increase your self awareness and improve your ability to cope with stressors. My approach is client-centered, and targets balance between mind and body. The focus areas of my practice are women’s issues, bicultural identity, anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorder. I have several years of experience working in the field in inpatient and outpatient community mental health settings. I care about an array of social justice issues, most prominently disrupting racial oppression and promoting equity. I consider myself an ally to people who identify as LGBTQ+. I am deeply passionate about women's issues and navigating identity. I am so glad you are taking a moment to prioritize your well-being, and look forward to working with you!

Help me, help you. Taking a step toward beginning therapy is brave and you aren’t alone! Though it may feel daunting initially, therapy can be quite rewarding. I find joy in discovering strengths in others they may not notice in themselves, while providing practical tools, resources, and support. I value being part of the Social Work field and have worked with a wide range of ages and diagnoses through home-based and telehealth therapy services, outpatient substance use treatment, and outpatient groups for Veterans. I most often work with individuals hoping to navigate symptoms of stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I feel fortunate to have the opportunity to help others through a variety of approaches while navigating life changes, stressors, mental health symptoms, and improving family dynamics. With my areas of experience, I hope to help you take the next step and support you through your process. I look forward to partnering with you to set and achieve your goals.
As therapists, we often have a front-row seat to miracles. Well, okay, there are no miracles really. The fact is “fixing” a relationship or eliminating unhealthy behaviors can feel overwhelming. Yet, we are constantly amazed by the resiliency of clients and the transformative nature of the therapy. We strongly value the client-therapist relationship and heavily emphasize building rapport. Many clients will see a therapist for one session and never return, citing a lack of rapport with the therapist as the reason. We are humbled every day by the fact that clients choose to share some of the most vulnerable aspects of their lives with us. Whether you are struggling to overcome an addiction, repair a relationship or seeking to heal from past traumas, you have come to the right place. We have the experience to help you achieve your goals.

Amanda Zolman is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and graduate of Butler University where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology while competing in NCAA Division I Cross Country and Track and Field as a student-athlete. She obtained her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Indianapolis and completed her clinical training at both Butler University Counseling & Consultation Services and IU Methodist Hospital's Addition Treatment & Recovery Center. Before creating Thrive Counseling Services, she served as an outpatient therapist and clinical supervisor at a group private practice in Carmel, Indiana for almost 10 years where she provided individual and family therapy and crisis intervention services. Amanda has worked with a diverse range of individuals in terms of socioeconomic status, age, ethnicity, gender, and presenting concerns. She has a solid understanding of the challenges faced by adolescents and adults and is passionate about assisting individuals in improving their mental health, enhancing their life experiences, and empowering them to be a part of their own growth. She is committed to providing a safe, supportive, and accepting therapeutic environment and prioritizes the development of a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship to allow each individual to gain insight and develop skills to assist them in addressing their presenting concerns. ***All therapy services are currently being provided virtually via a secure online platform (Telemental Health)*** For individuals who have difficulties finding time in their busy schedule, the convenience and flexibility of online therapy makes this a great option. Because you are able to have sessions in a private area of your choosing and will not need to commute to and from sessions, you can be more efficient with your time. Whether you decide to sit at a park, in your bedroom, or in a private space on campus such as a library study room, it's up to you. Wherever you choose to be during your sessions, know that you will receive the same professional support and assistance through online therapy as you would for in-person services.
My primary goal is to empower individuals in achieving our fullest potential by providing an environment where they can feel heard and understood, and where they can work towards personal growth, self-awareness, and healing. I am passionate about working with people recovering from narcissistic abuse. I believe in the importance of treating the whole person in a holistic approach to healing. Whether talking about anxiety to depression to specific life stressors to complex trauma, I'm here to walk alongside individuals as they identify their paths forward in an enriching and centered life. Services are delivered via telehealth. I enjoy a strengths-based approach to therapy. I have found parts work to be quite helpful. I am EMDR trained. Overall, my approach is that I consult the client, not the theory or methodology. As a result, I'm eclectic in my approach and work to personalize counseling services. I can work with CBT methods as a supplement to other methods. If you are struggling with the aftermath of trauma, including complex trauma, and are seeking support, I am here to help. My goal is to help people navigate recovery from complex trauma by learning inherent patterns that result from it. Please don't hesitate to reach out to schedule a consultation or to learn more about my approach to therapy.

College can be exciting, but it can also feel overwhelming, isolating, or uncertain. I work best with students who are navigating stress, anxiety, ADHD, mood challenges, or life transitions. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel more grounded and confident.
My ideal client is a person who is struggling with anxiety, depression, a life transition or who has trouble identifying feelings. They feel these difficulties hold them back from the life they want, and are brave enough to begin a journey of transformation. My primary approach is experiential in nature, which means I work in the here-and-now with you. My approach is also informed by psychodynamic therapy, which explores how the past impacts your present life. Feel free to learn more at ericbryanlmhc.com. Hey there! Feeling overwhelmed by life, school, or relationships? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. College can be an exciting time, but let’s be honest: it can also be a lot. Between juggling classes, friendships, family expectations, and figuring out your future, life can feel downright overwhelming. Maybe you’re dealing with stress or anxiety that won’t let up. Perhaps you’re struggling to manage perfectionism, self-doubt, or feeling stuck in a cycle of procrastination. Whatever brought you here, I want you to know that you’ve taken an incredible first step by exploring support—and I’m here to help. As a therapist, I work with college students like you who are navigating the stress and uncertainty that often comes with this stage of life. Whether you’re trying to balance school and personal life, sort through complicated emotions, or just figure out who you are and what you want, I’m here to offer you a safe, supportive space to unpack it all. What You Can Expect in Therapy Therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating or clinical—it’s about you. In our sessions, you’ll find a space where you can talk openly about what’s on your mind without fear of judgment. Whether it’s anxiety about grades, relationship struggles, or the pressure to have everything figured out, we’ll work through it together. We’ll explore what’s been holding you back and develop strategies that actually fit into your life. I use evidence-based approaches, mindfulness techniques, and tools for managing stress and anxiety, but I also believe in keeping things real, relatable, and sometimes even lighthearted. Growth doesn’t always have to feel heavy—it’s about learning how to navigate life in a way that feels true to you. Why College Students Choose Therapy Here are just a few of the reasons students come to me for support: Stress & Burnout: College life can feel like one big to-do list. We’ll work on managing your stress and setting boundaries so you can feel more in control. Anxiety & Perfectionism: Always striving for the best? Constantly overthinking? Let’s work together to quiet the pressure and find more balance. Relationships: Whether you’re navigating friendships, dating, or family dynamics, I can help you build stronger, healthier connections. Life Transitions: Moving to a new place, choosing a major, or figuring out what’s next after college? These changes can feel overwhelming, but they’re also opportunities for growth. Self-Discovery: College is a time of exploring who you are. We’ll work on building your confidence, tuning into your values, and creating a vision for your future. A Little About Me I’m Rachel McCrystal, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people—just like you—navigate life’s challenges with care and confidence. Outside of therapy, I’m a mother, a military spouse, and a breast cancer survivor, so I deeply understand what it’s like to feel stretched thin and uncertain about the future. My own experiences have taught me how important it is to have someone in your corner—and that’s exactly what I aim to be for you. This Is Your Time I know it can feel scary to take that first step toward therapy, but I promise, it’s worth it. You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out—I’ll meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you figure it out. Therapy is about creating space to breathe, reflect, and grow. It’s about learning to trust yourself, embrace your strengths, and navigate challenges with more clarity and resilience. If you’re ready to stop feeling stuck and start moving forward, let’s connect. Your next chapter is waiting, and I’d be honored to be a part of it.
