Many insurances are accepted and services provided in-person and Telehealth. Psychotherapy will help you navigate difficulties in relationships, careers, and life in general. It will help you understand and work through the emotional roadblocks, such as anxieties and depressive moods that can cause individuals to struggle, . Modalities such as CBT, ACT, DBT, IMAGO, psychodynamic and relational approaches, are used in my practice. An essential feature of this approach is the development of a unique and trusting relationship between client and therapist. As a therapist and Licensed Master Social Worker, I help young adults, adults, and couples navigate attachment and relationship issues, anxiety, codependency, relationship issues, depression, trauma, OCD, and life transitions. I believe that the perspectives we hold make up our reality, which helps me meet people where they are without judgment and work toward realistic goals. I look forward to reflecting, analyzing, and learning about who you are and how you navigate the world during our time together. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and real to better guide you in developing greater self-awareness, building healthier relationships, and feeling empowered in your life. You are encouraged to achieve these goals in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment tailored to your unique needs, situations, and way of thinking. Your customized treatment may include attachment-based and patient-centered approaches to help you understand yourself and your experiences as well as develop practical tools for change. My path to becoming a therapist began with a strong interest in understanding people and their unique experiences and, in turn, how to support them through difficult moments in their lives. Through my work with children, teens, and families in crisis settings, I developed a deep commitment to providing empathetic, practical, and culturally responsive care. These unique experiences and perspectives allow me to bring genuine curiosity, therapeutic wisdom, and real discussion to each session. Outside of patient care, I enjoy a wide range of hobbies, from running and skiing to cooking and journaling.
Growing up with learning disabilities, I had an experience that is all too familiar for the neurodivergent community. Often feeling misunderstood and out of place, I was faced with indifference, ignorance, neglect, gaslighting, shame, and the assumption that I could navigate a world that was not built for me without the support I so badly needed. Lonely, adrift, and struggling to find a sense of belonging, I was cast aside and left to fend for myself. After a series of negative experiences with mental health resources and support, my personal journey led me to a couples therapist in 2014. There, I embarked on a journey of transformation, and I was able to see the profound impact that the right therapy relationship could have on a person. It was then that I was introduced to Gestalt psychotherapy, which I immediately connected with. From there, I set forth on a new journey to study Gestalt psychotherapy at the Gestalt Associates for Psychotherapy, a post-graduate training program. Pursuing this path, I have continued to experience connectedness, belonging, compassion, the wonder of curiosity, and love itself. Arriving at this place of acceptance and understanding changed everything for me. Understanding that this positive experience is not the norm for members of the neurodivergent community, I decided to dedicate myself to providing that same transformation for others. With this mission, I founded Welcome Home Healing in 2023. Since then, I have had the pleasure of helping many clients embrace their own innate worth, gifts, individuality, and the freedom to shed their masks of shame and self doubt.
The enormous number of stressors we face daily are intense these days: the climate, global unrest and politics, the economy, overwork, isolation, disconnection. All of this is tremendously difficult to manage alone. Anxiety, anger, depression, resentment, boredom; sadness, rage, exhaustion, denial. If you're struggling with any of this -- or any other states that often bring people to therapy, like feeling lost or overwhelmed, relationship issues, lack of direction, emptiness, grief -- it's worth investing the time and effort to get help, get grounded, and find a better path forward. I offer both in-person & remote therapy. If you're suffering, struggling, having difficulty focusing or functioning, you may really benefit from talking with an empathic and skilled therapist (with room for humor). Life is a lot to handle on one's own. If you've ever considered trying to better understand things about your life, the first phone call awaits. Psychoanalytic psychotherapy offers deep empathic understanding and useful insights that can be grounding and freeing. Therapy expands your capacities and coping strategies while helping you understand yourself & loved ones better. Significant change takes time, but often real relief is experienced just by starting the process. Are you ready to begin?

I’ve had the honor of working with a wide range of clients, each with their own unique experiences, across various settings. You might be someone who generally has things together. You’re responsible, capable, and used to handling things on your own, but internally, things feel harder than it looks. Your mind may be constantly racing, second-guessing, or getting stuck on certain thoughts. Maybe anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, or stress is making it harder to enjoy school, relationships, or everyday life, or you're navigating a major transition and feeling overwhelmed behind the scenes. I work with students who want to better understand what’s going on internally and learn how to respond differently. Many of my clients are high-achieving and motivated but feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, overthinking, perfectionism, or avoidance that are hard to break alone. Together, we'll work on changing how you relate to difficult thoughts and emotions so they have less power over your daily life. I also work with students coping with chronic illness, chronic pain, or physical symptoms that don’t have clear medical answers. I help clients understand the mind-body connection and how stress, anxiety, and the nervous system can influence physical symptoms while taking their experiences seriously. My approach is practical, collaborative, and warm. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable sharing what’s on your mind without judgment while building evidence-based skills you can use in everyday life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, resilient, and better equipped to navigate life's challenges.

We are trying to reintegrate in our own way, and it is not easy. Taking good care of our emotional well being is a priority in my eyes. Are you motivated to change and grow? If you need the best person to help you reach your goals? I practice what I preach. “See me”and “hear me”. “Make it safe”. Often this is the beginning of what is missing in relationships. It's hard to ask for help. Being in a relationship is tricky. I appreciate people who are brave to say: "I need help with my life.", "I want to change my life.", & "I am unhappy.". I can help transform your hopes into action. You CAN change your life....if you have the will and desire to do so.

Therapy is a place to talk to someone outside of your every day life. It's a place to gain insight into what is going on within yourself, and to learn more about your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. You may begin therapy due to a serious life event, or simply to improve your mood, your lifestyle, or your relationships. I will ask questions and offer feedback to help you look at your problems differently, to make more sense of what's going on in your life, and to unravel difficult issues. We will work together as you decide what changes you may want to begin to make. In addition to working with individuals, I also work with couples. Some couples are early in their relationships and want to make sure they are on the right track. Others have been together longer and want less distressing and hurtful interactions, and instead want positive ways of communicating and connecting with each other. As we work in couples therapy, you will better understand what each person is contributing to the relationship, and you will both learn new skills so that you can better manage your differences, resolve conflicts, and build a stronger and more satisfying relationship. I also offer a 3 hour, premarital/early relationship course. Couples may choose to do this to assess their relationship strengths, and to get learn areas of their relationship that can use some focused work. This course is very helpful to help couples to prevent and change negative patterns from developing, and to learn some very important relationship building skills.
